Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 25, 2026 • Effective Date: September 25, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of DoseCue (“DoseCue,” the “App”), developed and operated by Thanh Le (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms apply to your access to and use of the App on or after the Effective Date. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

⚠️ Important medical notice: DoseCue is an optional personal organization and reminder tool. It does not provide and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical monitoring, or emergency services.

1. Agreement, Provider, and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use DoseCue. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, especially where medication schedules are involved.

A parent or legal guardian may use DoseCue to manage medication reminders for a child under 13, but the child must not independently use the App.

These Terms incorporate the DoseCue Privacy Policy. Unless a custom end-user license agreement is displayed for DoseCue in the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”) also applies. These Terms supplement that EULA. If a provision conflicts with mandatory law or a controlling App Store term, the mandatory law or controlling term prevails to the extent of the conflict.

2. Purpose of the App and Medical Disclaimer

DoseCue helps you create medication schedules, receive reminders, record dose activity, monitor medication inventory and expiration dates, review history, and view adherence reports and exports.

DoseCue is an optional personal organization and reminder tool. It does not provide and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical monitoring, or emergency services.

DoseCue does not prescribe medication, recommend dosage, diagnose or treat any condition, check drug interactions or contraindications, monitor you in real time, or determine whether a medication, dose, schedule, instruction, correction, or action is safe or appropriate for you.

All medication information is entered by you. Reports, streaks, adherence percentages, trends, and missed-dose labels are automated organizational summaries and are not clinical assessments.

Always follow the medication label and instructions from your doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional. Do not start, stop, change, repeat, or compensate for a dose based only on DoseCue.

If you think you took an incorrect dose, missed an important dose, are having a reaction, or face an emergency, contact a qualified healthcare professional, poison-control service, or local emergency service immediately.

3. Reminder and Widget Reliability

You are responsible for entering accurate medication information and verifying your schedules, reminders, inventory counts, dose records, expiration dates, and App settings.

DoseCue reminders and widgets may be delayed, blocked, silenced, hidden, outdated, duplicated, or unavailable due to device settings, notification permissions, Focus modes, Do Not Disturb, battery settings, Low Power Mode, operating-system restrictions, widget refresh limits, time-zone changes, deleted schedules, App updates, storage errors, device failure, or other circumstances outside our control.

You should not rely on DoseCue as your only method for managing important or time-sensitive medication.

If you believe you missed a dose, took an incorrect dose, are experiencing a reaction, or may otherwise be facing a medical issue, contact a qualified healthcare professional, poison-control service, or local emergency service as appropriate.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • enter and review accurate medication, schedule, dose, inventory, and expiration information;
  • follow professional medical instructions rather than treating the App as medical guidance;
  • maintain a suitable backup reminder method for important medication;
  • keep your device, Lock Screen, Apple Account, backups, widgets, notifications, and exported files appropriately secured;
  • review and correct dose records before relying on reports or sharing them; and
  • use the App only for lawful, personal purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

5. Premium Purchases

DoseCue may offer auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscriptions, a free trial or discounted introductory offer where available, and a non-subscription one-time purchase option such as Lifetime Premium.

Prices, subscription duration, offer eligibility and duration, renewal terms, and available plans are displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by country or region. Apple’s purchase confirmation controls the final product, price, currency, and billing period.

If you start a free trial or discounted introductory offer for an auto-renewing subscription, the subscription will automatically renew at the standard price displayed at purchase unless canceled. To avoid renewal after a free or discounted trial, cancel it through your Apple Account at least 24 hours before the offer ends.

Auto-renewing subscriptions continue for successive billing periods unless canceled before the renewal date shown by Apple. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings. Canceling usually does not remove Premium access before the end of the current paid billing period.

Deleting DoseCue, using Delete Data, or otherwise stopping use of the App does not cancel an active subscription.

A Lifetime Premium purchase is a non-consumable, one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the applicable Premium features available in the App, subject to these Terms, App availability, platform requirements, and changes permitted by law. It does not guarantee that the App, every feature, or every third-party service will remain available forever.

Payments, billing, subscription management, applicable taxes, purchase restoration, and refund requests are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

6. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded DoseCue from Apple’s App Store, the following additional terms apply. These Terms govern the relationship between you and us, not Apple, and supplement Apple’s applicable Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and App Store rules.

The license granted to you is limited to a non-transferable license to use DoseCue on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and applicable App Store rules, including any permitted use through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

We, not Apple, are responsible for providing any maintenance and support for DoseCue to the extent required under these Terms or applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for DoseCue.

We are responsible for any product warranties that cannot be effectively disclaimed under applicable law. If DoseCue fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund any purchase price paid for the App, if applicable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to DoseCue.

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims relating to DoseCue or your possession or use of DoseCue, including product-liability claims, claims that the App does not comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer-protection, privacy, or similar laws.

If a third party claims that DoseCue or your possession or use of DoseCue infringes that party’s intellectual-property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.

Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

7. Local Data, Delete Data, Backups, and Uninstallation

DoseCue is local-first and does not currently provide a DoseCue account or cloud-sync service. You are responsible for the availability and accuracy of data stored on your device.

Delete Data lets you remove selected categories. Some selections have necessary dependencies that the App shows before deletion: deleting Medications & Schedules also includes their inventory and expiration records, and deleting Dose History also includes generated Reports & Statistics. Selecting Reports & Statistics by itself removes generated report and temporary export files but leaves dose history, so reports can be generated again. Selecting App Settings resets the local profile, selected language, onboarding, and in-App notification preferences while preserving unselected health records and the Apple purchase entitlement.

Selecting all categories removes all App-managed local categories, preferences, pending and delivered DoseCue notifications, and the widget cache, then returns DoseCue to first-launch onboarding. It does not cancel an Apple subscription, erase Apple purchase history, revoke iOS permissions, remove original photos, or delete files and messages already stored outside DoseCue. Apple may restore an active Premium entitlement after verification.

Uninstalling the App ordinarily removes its current local container, but Apple-controlled device or iCloud backups may contain an earlier copy. DoseCue does not operate or access those backups and cannot guarantee restoration after deletion, corruption, device loss, an incompatible update, or uninstallation. Export important information before deleting it, while remembering that exports contain sensitive information and are not a substitute for professional medical records.

8. Exports and Support

CSV and PDF exports are generated locally. After you save, send, or share an export through Files, Mail, AirDrop, cloud storage, another app, or another person, you are responsible for its recipients, confidentiality, accuracy, storage, and deletion. DoseCue cannot recall an external copy.

Support responses are limited to product and technical assistance. They do not provide medical advice and do not create a doctor-patient, pharmacist-patient, fiduciary, employment, agency, or other professional relationship.

9. Third-Party Services

DoseCue uses or interacts with third-party services, including Apple’s App Store and in-app purchase systems, email service providers for support communications, and destinations you select through the iOS Share Sheet.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, platform rules, availability, and security practices.

DoseCue does not control these third-party services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for their independent availability, operation, security, or conduct. Nothing in this section limits our responsibilities for DoseCue or for data handling within our control.

10. Intellectual Property

DoseCue, including its software, design, user interface, text, graphics, icons, branding, documentation, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to Thanh Le and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms and the applicable Apple App Store terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license, revocable as provided in these Terms, to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

11. Prohibited Conduct

Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you must not:

  • interfere with security, StoreKit verification, notifications, widgets, legal-document loading, or normal App operation;
  • use the App to violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law; or
  • misrepresent App-generated information as medical advice or as a verified clinical record.

12. Availability, Compatibility, and Feature Changes

We may fix, improve, add, remove, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, offers, support, or distribution of DoseCue. Some changes may require a newer App version, a supported version of iOS, compatible hardware, available storage, or an internet connection for StoreKit or external websites.

We do not promise that the App, every feature, or every external service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device or future operating-system version. We will respect any non-waivable rights relating to paid digital content.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoseCue is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or suitability for medical use.

We do not warrant that reminders will arrive, that a widget is current, that a report or export is complete, that user-entered data is correct, or that local information will never be lost. Any warranty or remedy that Apple or mandatory consumer law requires remains in effect and is not excluded by these Terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoseCue and its owner, licensors, and contributors are not liable for medical decisions, injury caused by reliance on the App, missed or incorrect doses, delayed or missing notifications, inaccurate entries, outdated widgets, report errors, lost data, compromised exports, device failure, third-party conduct, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use DoseCue.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability or remedies that cannot legally be limited, including any applicable statutory consumer rights. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions, so some provisions may not apply to you.

15. Ending Use and License Termination

You may stop using and uninstall DoseCue at any time. You must separately cancel an active subscription through your Apple Account if you do not want it to renew.

Your license may end if you materially breach these Terms or the controlling Apple EULA, subject to any notice or remedy required by law. We may also stop distributing or supporting the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—continue after use ends.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the App, Premium offerings, external providers, or legal obligations change. The revised version will display a new “Last Updated” date and effective date. When reasonably practicable, material changes will also be communicated in the App or through another appropriate notice.

Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where law permits. If applicable law requires explicit consent, we will request it. If you do not agree to a revision, stop using the App and separately manage any active Apple subscription.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country or region require otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under applicable law.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and DoseCue agree, where reasonably practicable, to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue by contacting us at the email address below.

Unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, unresolved disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Vietnam.

This section does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using a consumer-protection or dispute-resolution process available under applicable law.
